2007 Chevrolet Colorado

For 2007 the Colorado saw some heavy changes to the lineup. Newly designed and implemented engines such as the 2.9L Inline-4 features 10 extra horsepower, bringing the total to 185HP for standard models. Not to be outdone, the high-end Z71 enlarged its engine to 3.9L on the Inline-5 and increased horsepower to 242HP over 220HP previously.

The 2007 Chevrolet Colorado manages to get over 24MPG on the highway, a crafty and note-worthy achievement for Chevrolet for such a powerful and performing pickup truck. Brakes come standard with disc in the front and drum in the back that are coupled with an anti-locking feature for safety.

Premium wheels, privacy glass, CD changers, leather seating and a moon roof are all some of the great optional features possible on the 2007 Chevrolet Colorado.

2006 Chevrolet Colorado

2006 saw no changes to the Colorado lineup, holding onto the best features of before that made it surpass the competition in sales by almost 30%.

Standard engine sizes made no changes, still offering a 175HP Inline-4 or the sport packaged 3.5L Z71 Inline-5 with 220HP. The 2006 Chevrolet Colorado sports a 4-speed automatic transmission that comes standard and customers who so choose can have a 5-speed manual put in its place. The drivetrain remains intact, with rear-wheel and four-wheel-drive capability being at the driver’s discretion.

Standard anti-locking brake features with disc and drum brakes come equipped on the 2006 Chevrolet Colorado. A CD changer, moon roof and leather seating are all optional features for the driver to choose, making this one of the most luxurious pickup trucks.

2005 Chevrolet Colorado

The 2005 Chevrolet Colorado Truck is a direct replacement for the Chevy S10 and CMS Sonoma. Engine packages offered come in either a 2.8L Inline-4 (which is one of the largest 4-cylinder engines in production) and puts out 175HP, or a 3.5L Sport Package Z71 In-line-5 engine with 220HP.

Power is routed to either the rear-wheels or all four wheels and comes with a 4-speed automatic or an optional 5-speed manual transmission.

Wheelbases of 111” and 126” for the extended version make the 2005 Chevrolet Colorado a great off-road and venturing car for enthusiasts and fans alike.

A sport-tuned ZQ8 platform offering a lower and road-oriented suspension comes optional, this package offers 17” wheels, new front bumper and grille and fender-flares that are lower profile than previously.
